Chantal’s BA college thesis included 14 larger than life sized portraits depicting friends and colleague’s alike. Each piece was lit in differently colored light and had featured areas filled with abstracted shape and pattern. These decisions emphasize each individuals personality, emotions, and the significance of the “light” they bring to the world. It also emphasizes the artists own interpretation of the individual, and how perspective can color peoples opinion of others.
